St. Teresa of Calcutta Memorial Shrine

We invite you to consider dedicating a memorial vigil light in memory of a deceased family member or friend for the coming year. In the St. Teresa of Calcutta Memorial Shrine, just inside the main doors of the church, a bank of ruby-colored vigil candles surrounds a beautiful, life-like statue of Mother Teresa of Calcutta holding a young child.

We believe that the Memorial Shrine serves as a testimony to
our prayers for the faithful departed and as a comfort to the living--a sign of our hope in eternal life.

The names of each of those who are commemorated in our
Memorial Shrine are inscribed on a brass plaque which is placed in front of a vigil light. The light burns day and night in their honor for a full year. In addition, a monthly mass is celebrated as a spiritual remembrance for those who are commemorated in our St. Teresa Memorial Shrine. When the year is completed, you will have the option to renew the dedication.

The suggested donation for a memorial vigil light in the St. Teresa of Calcutta Memorial Shrine is $100 per year.

If you would like to dedicate or renew a memorial vigil light, please contact the rectory office at 708-788-0876.
